Welcome to my website! I'm a PhD student at Stanford's Department of Political Science. The ambition of my research is to help build a more credible regime of scientific discovery through the development of interpretable, accessible, and rigorous methods. My substantive research centers around the politics of LGBT rights, democratic institutions, and the political economy of authoritarianism.
I graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics, a B.A. in Political Science, and a minor in Economics from UC San Diego. Some of my work has appeared in American Political Science Review and The Journal of Politics. You can find a copy of my CV here.
